uThetha Telecoms is celebrating their 11 th year Anniversary, which commemorates 11 great challenging, profitable, fantastic years in business. This is a huge milestone for the Cape Town-based high-tech business telecoms solutions and equipment provider business, which has been providing high-tech business telecoms solutions and equipment to small, medium and corporate organizations, since 2006.
uThetha Telecoms got it’s start in 2006 when founder Riaan Venter and Etienne Tredoux Both came from the IT Industry and saw an opportunity to inject IT skills into the Telecommunications industry.
One of the earliest challenges uThetha Telecoms faced was finding an effective way to deliver their products to as many people as possible.
While every business of course faces challenges, some, like uThetha Telecoms are fortunate enough to enjoy real successes, wins and victories too. Once such victory came when they landed their first five figure client who was happy with the service and they told several people.
Riaan Venter, Owner at uThetha Telecoms was also quoted when discussing another big win. “One of the high points of uThetha Telecoms’s history so far was having a journalist from a local newspaper write a news piece on us , which generated a huge amount of interest from the local community.”

uThetha Telecoms currently consists of 42 employees and has big plans for the upcoming year. One of their core objectives is break into the European market.
